Commentary: John 21:15-19
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was distressed that he has said to him a third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” (Jesus) said to him, “Feed my sheep.”
Jesus, how often could you ask me “Do you love me?” I take great comfort in knowing that Peter who failed you so often also became a great saint. And your response to Peter’s act of love and contrition? “Feed my sheep.” My children are the sheep you have entrusted to my care. Help me prove my love for you by feeding them the grace and truth you give us through your Church. Help me foster a great love for the Church and the Holy Father in my children.
Resolution: Pray for the Holy Father and his intentions today.
Home Hack
In homes where hair brushes tend to go missing: buy a brush that has a hole in the handle and attach a chain cord, looping it around the towel rack in the bathroom so that it can’t wander. Yes, put a leash on your brush.
