Commentary: Mark 10:17-27

“You are lacking one thing. Go sell what you have and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come and follow me.” At that statement, his face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

Jesus, what is it that is keeping me from following you fully? Help me let go of anything that might be getting in the way of my relationship with you. With the busy life I live, help me let go of my “to do list”, my desire for order and control, in order to take the time to rest in you consistently each day.
