Commentary: Luke 9:46-50

“Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”

Jesus, how often is recognition a motivator for me, even if it is something that I am doing all alone in my house, but I am driven by a desire to meet a standard, either my own or others. I want to purify my intention by making an act of love to replace that pride.
