Commentary: Luke 2:36-40

When they had fulfilled all the prescriptions of the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their town of Nazareth. The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon them.

Jesus, as a mother, I am sometimes impatient to know how you are calling my children. Give me patience and perseverance in living the details of our daily duties well, knowing that it is the best thing I can do to prepare them to discern and accept your plan for them.
