Commentary: Mark 10: 46-52
Jesus said to him in reply, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied to him, “Master, I want to see.” Jesus told him, “Go your way; your faith has saved you.” Immediately re received his sight and followed him on the way.”
Jesus, forgive me if I am as bold as Bartimaeus. Lord, rather than vision in the literal sense, give me the insight I need to be the mother you want me to be. Help me to see when my child needs correction and when he just needs some rest. Help me know when to pray to his guardian angel, especially in matters of the soul. Help me seek to truly understand my children’s needs, struggles and desires.
Resolution: Take some time out of the hustle and bustle to “waste” time with at least one of your children today.
Pro Tip
My most peaceful and productive days are the ones where I’m not scrambling to get dinner on while older kids need help with homework and babies are melting down. Meal prep early, don't save it for the “witching hour”!
