Commentary: Luke 9:7-9
But Herod said, “John I beheaded. Who then is this about whom I hear such things?” And he kept trying to see him.
Jesus, It is easy to be attracted to a show. Do I look for the eloquent preacher, the beautiful music the amazing artwork? While the beautiful can help direct my gaze to you, who is perfectly beautiful, sometimes I forget that it is not an end in itself. I want to seek you in the quiet of my heart, in the stillness of the tabernacle.
Thankful Thursday
Today I am thankful for a husband who is as fully invested in parenting as I am.
