Commentary: John 5: 1-16

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been ill for a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be well?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am on my way, someone gets down there before me.”

Jesus, help me to see how to help each of my children with their struggles. I know each will have unique needs and maybe I won’t always have the answers, but you do have the answers. If I am praying for my children, and praying about my children then I know you will give them the help they need.
