Commentary: Luke 19:1-10

So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, who was about to pass that way. When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said, “Zachaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house.”

Jesus, help me be an example to my children that I am willing to go out of my way to be close to you. I’m sorry for the times I have let minor obstacles or inconveniences stop me from spending time with you in prayer or even Mass.
