Commentery: Luke 9: 51-56

On the way they entered a Samaritan village to prepare for his reception there, but they would not welcome him because the destination of his journey was Jerusalem. When the disciples James and John saw the they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?” Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they journeyed to another village.

Jesus, I want to be an example of charity to my children but I can so easily relate to James and John. How quickly I lash out to those who hurt me. Help me to live and teach forgiveness and love without exception.

The hardest thing about menu planning is nailing down the consistant time in your week to do it but once you get in the habit, you’ll never look back.
