Commentary: Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18

Jesus said to his disciples: “Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father.”

Jesus, it is hard to not look for recognition for what I do as a mother. So much of it is invisible to the world unless I slip it into conversation or document it on social media. Help me to purify my intentions by offering my work well done for love of you and for love of my family.

Resolution: Pray a morning offering.
