Dear Friends and Fellow Mommas,

This will be my last entry for the summer. I plan to return in September and am working to develop a platform that will organize resources in a way that is easier to see and search. I would truly appreciate any suggestions and feedback as to what you would find most helpful with MOMentum-either in terms of content or the way it is delivered. Also, I really do need your help and ideas. This is the perfect time to send me that go-to recipe, life saving hack or book that warms your heart so that I can include it in this coming year’s plan of postings.

Commentary: Matthew 8:28-34

The swineheards ran away, and when they came to the town they reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs. Thereupon the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him they begged him to leave their district.

Jesus, you saved two men from demonic possession and made it possible to use the road they were on again. Instead of thanking you though, they asked you to leave. Is there an area of my life that I’d rather you didn’t touch? Am I afraid to pay the price or face the consequences of following you in a specific area? Maybe it’s how I relax-a tv show I watch that has immoral content or avoiding speaking truth to a friend or family member because I don’t know how they will react. Jesus, help me let you into every part of my life regardless of the sacrifice it involves.
