Commentary: Luke 14: 25-33

In the same way, everyone of you who does not renounce all of his possessions cannot be my disciple.

Jesus, what attachments do I have that are keeping me from growing closer to you? Am I willing to let you call the shots or am I willing to play the game as long as I am in charge? Help me entrust everything to you: my security, children’s vocations, my present and my future.
