Commentary: Luke 11:1-4

He said to them, “When you pray say: Father, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us and do not subject us to the final test.”

Jesus, thank you for teaching me how to speak to your Father and for giving me this little insight into what matters most. As a parent, isn’t it everything I want for my child? Help me to lead them in trusting my Father in heaven with all of my physical and spiritual needs.
